Source via. Steve Thomas dropped by for a visit at the new house yesterday! Emmy-winning former host of This Old House and Renovation Nation, Steve graciously toured through with me and shared his wonderful insights on the house and the renovation. He is a walking library of knowledge of all facets of historical architecture, the work to restore classic homes and sustainable building practices. He was incredibly generous in chatting through many details of our plans. Being a true builder at heart however, he was also eager to take a look at the basement to get a feel for what the place was founded upon. When Steve asked what the basement was like, I sheepishly admitted that I hadn't been down yet. Upon hearing that, he made sure that was to be the next stop on the tour. Steve's visit was one of those surreal moments when I felt like I was seventeen again and cozying up to another fascinating episode of This Old House. Today, I’m going to do something a little different in my message. In addition to speaking about a particular passage, I’m also going to touch on one of the key doctrines of Christianity-the Trinity. After all, today is Trinity Sunday. The concept is the Trinity is not mentioned specifically in the Bible, but it is there. Paul refers to God’s glory, wrath, love and grace. God’s plan of salvation is a reflection and extension of his attributes. Paul’s Letter to the Romans begins with the desperate condition of lost humanity and ends triumphantly with the benefits of being reconciled to God. Just as it begins and ends with “Through our Lord Jesus Christ,” so, too, is Christ first and last in the life of the believer. While my sister was here visiting from California this summer, she taught us how to make paper beads. It's a quick and easy craft that you can do with your kiddos. So today I'm going to show you how. It's a very simple process. Start with pages from magazines or newspaper inserts. On a brighter note, it seems that prices have been pretty good this year. Anyone disagree?. Remember those days when you would go out on your first date with that special someone and they brought you home to meet the family or you were the one who brought that person home?Remember how Mom would do that totally evil thing by breaking out the family album and show those pictures of you when you were young? Hey who are we not to be evil as we were going though our old pictures of the Ranger rookies when we first covered them for the Blueshirt Bulletin. First Up is Ryan Callahan when he was playing for the Guelph Storm and setting all sorts of scoring records. We knew then that he would be a Ranger because he told us so both with his words and his game. Now the better news, if you liked Brandon this year then wait until next season as we know Brandon will do like he has done every single year and that is take the lessons he has learned during that season and improve upon himself as a player. That is who you think it is, one Nigel Dawes from his days with the Kootenay Ice. Now this picture is very special to us because during the season that this picture is from, Nigel showed us just how special a human being he was by getting a hair cut at center ice to help raise money to fight Cancer. How cute and stylish is this children's aviator hood from quirky collective? It just makes me smile. As of this morning, we've begun. Microdose lupron is on board. Tonight this beginning will be augmented with more lupron, plus some saizen and some dexamethasone just to round things out. God help Will over the next week before I leave for Colorado. Oh well. The New York Times has stirred up a bit of controversy in Mexico’s presidential election. ” But it was not the headline that has stirred up the Mexicans. But, more important for most Mexicans, none of them are the incumbent, Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa. President Calderón’s war against the drug lords is extremely unpopular. And that unpopularity is setting part of the pace in this year's election. All the polls show Enrique Peña Nieto as the leading candidate. He is the charisma candidate. Wagner is blaring on the stereo. And here I sit in the midst of war-planning. The Sudentland and Poland are safe.

But Aedes aegypti and her ilk had best pack up their carbon dioxide-detectors.

Because I am irritated. Rather, my skin is irritated. My lower legs are as red and bumpy as a teenager's left cheek. All from mosquito bites. I am accustomed to battling them during the day when I sit on my patio and write. The usual attackers are the species that carries Yellow and Dengue Fever, and wanders around at all hours of the day. The original pic Add a sun. Dreamy effect. Poster with frame. So, this is my one hundredth post and I feel like I should be doing something monumental with it. But I don't have time to do any of that. So I'm going to devote my one hundredth post to celebrating all the incredible images and people I've encountered through my involvement in blogging and flickr and etsy. This has been an unbelievably inspiring year. All that has changed. I have this incredible access to more images than there are hours in the day to view them. Even better, though, is the opportunity to put my work out there and get feedback on it. BELLE ROBERTSON, MBE is regarded as one of the best Scottish golfers of all-time, an amateur legend who won countless titles at home and abroad and is still going strong, playing off a three handicap at her beloved Dunaverty on the remote west coast. In the week of the Scottish Senior Women’s Open Championship at Fortrose and Rosemarkie GC, how fitting to talk with one of the nation’s favourite females. I also always used to say my birthday was the same day as Seve’s, but he was two days before. It’s always a nice way to celebrate with The Masters, you have people in the house and you are viewing the golf at night. Hey everyone. The update to the brflines site today is for Igor Andreev. Just one pic to share, sadly. Igor used to rock the brflines before he decided to hook up with UnderArmour for his gear. Now, sadly, no.

I apologize in advance for all the abbreviations I'm about to use.

The NES you end up with is determined by the character's native element. They are kind of like a racial traits but instead of being based on the character's race they are based on the character's native element instead. The NCS on the other hand is the same for every character. I wonder how much longer will Archbishop Wuerl will remain silent. Washington D. C. - Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards has praised the Catholic religious sisters who endorsed the Senate health care bill, claiming they deserve gratitude for making “a critical demonstration of support” for a bill that significantly increased coverage of “reproductive health care. ”Writing for the Huffington Post Wednesday in her capacity as president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Richards claimed that it was Catholic nuns who “most importantly broke with the bishops and the Vatican to announce their support for health care reform. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

Picasso Picasso's Maya the idea that school children should not be taught music and dance at school-but can get these immortal gifts at home is ludicrous.

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again.

And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. parking on the GA apron. The paper is the new DSP Newsprint. Today marks the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere, one of two times each year that the sun is at its greatest distance from the celestial equator. Today the sun shines directly over the tropic of Capricorn. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year. For me it represents a sense of change and renewal. And I know that as the days slowly get longer, the sun will begin to linger and the darkness of night arrives later and later. Wanting to celebrate the occasion, I have made five small artworks inspired by the solstice. Ingredients: watercolor paper, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, dye ink, calligraphy ink, dry transfer, altered paper, found paper, found metal objects, wire, eyelets. The weather forecast was pretty much correct when Andy and I finally made it up to Oakenclough for a ringing session this morning.

After an hour or two the wind increased to an unacceptable level so we curtailed the session early, but thankful for the brief window of weather in an otherwise unfriendly week. Meanwhile the continuing cold weather and northerly winds hold back any migration which might otherwise get under way. In September the Walney folk were unable to sex the Goldfinch so I’m guessing it was a late brooder, but as juvenile birds do, it soon set off to explore the world, or in this case North West England. I would urge all cat owners to try to make their own cat a house pet and to not let it wander through gardens or the countryside where it may kill wild animals and birds. If a cat is a dedicated outdoor rambler then it should be fitted with a bell around its neck as a warning device to other animals. Although still windy from the east it was a touch warmer today, so much so that not only did I see my first Wheatears of the year, I also opened my yearly ringing account of the species. Wheatear At least five of the Wheatears were bright, colourful males, so trust me to catch the only female I saw, a second calendar year. In the cool breezy conditions the males weren’t for hanging about my favoured catching spot on the stretch of rocky shore and seemed to prefer the grassy slopes behind the sea wall where they make it much harder for me. There’s sure to be other days soon to catch up with a few males. We had a good time last year so let's do it again. We were making knitted and crochet bag. The requirements listed Noro yarn, but we could use anything we wanted. I chose Noro as I have never used it before and the colours are so beautiful. In fact, I have not done any knitting for a long time, so I was really looking forward to this workshop. It makes an interesting change from knitting garments. The idea is to knit and crochet various shapes and then attach them to the plastic bag frame. When the whole bag is covered, it then can be embellished with buttons, beads etc and a handle is stitched on and the bag is lined. Julia brought some bags she designed and made herself, they were fantastic. listen to the words of an adult. Please copy and paste. Let's make this go viral. Many happy hat tips to Teresamerica. Lacking some of Ellison’s more overt vulnerabilities and, up until now, name recognition, Perez will arguably be in a better position to advance his radical, subversive agenda. And there’s the rub, because NRA has promoted “kinder, gentler” Republican versions of watch lists, and endorsed the politicians offering them. While words like “due process” are thrown around as some kind of reassurance, the fact remains that a fundamental right is being denied to citizens who have not even been charged with a crime, let alone convicted.
